Hello and welcome! 👋

I'm Nick. I'm a biologist and software engineer who cares a lot about building better tools for scientists. I work as a bioinformatician and data scientist at University of Wisconsin - Madison, where my charge is to make sense of pathogen and host genomic data. My core software values include scientific reproducibility, ease-of-use, and efficiency--I want any system I work on to meet researchers where they are, produce reproducible results, and do more with less.

`nickminor.bio` is my personal website and blog. But it's also an experiment in "full-stack biology," which is to say an exploration of web development, data visualization, bioinformatics, and systems programming. Read on for more about these and other topics!
